your guild must be new to anguish, im assuming. wait a month and "COA starter kits" will be ready to rot. but by all means, espeially since your shaman is an alt, get ancient spells. chances are his gear wont keep upwell in the next expansion, and readily available gear/focus that you can get now will help him alot until he can get better next expansion.
