Shaman healing revisited

After spending a lot of time in Tacvi and Anguish recently, I am of the opinion that the two spells shamans have for healing are not adequate in situations where a shaman is called on to be the main healer for a group. The highly restricted ability for casting group HoT's do not constitute a valid solution to the problem.

I believe that we need two addtional spells:

1. A fast heal spell similar to for times when damage occurs faster than Wilslik's can heal.

2. A group heal along the lines of or more realistically, something like

I think a group HoT is fine and would help a lot, but without the two tools above, I think shaman healing will only be limited to spot healing.

Having these tools will still not let us out heal a cleric, but would bring shamans up to speed with the higher level content.

And to head off any flames, I think druids would benefit from such spells as well.

Both of these options are well outside the shm model for healing. As well ask for Ensnare, Complete Healing, or Song of Highsun. If you don't have the tools you need to do an encounter one way, then another way has to be found.
