Thought this maybe of some Interest, I don't see any similar posts so forgive me if I've missed one:

Spell Research:
I'm not certain of this info but,

The drops below are for the 5 spell levels 61-65:
Used Parchment

Grimy Fine Vellum Parchment
Smudged Runic Parchment

Also required are:
Crystalized Sulfer.
Saltpeter.


Bloodeye (Killed with 18 Anguish people )

Task Given by: Cutfang (Stoneroot falls) [Raid Task]
Reward: Gives 1 Cure of Blood AA, 2 pieces of decent loot

He has 2 adds with him, theyre pretty easy to offtank, and kill them first, they dont respawn.
Bloodeye himself doesn't hit too hard, the whole trick is curing the DT AE.

2 AE's:

#1 Bloodeye's Bellow(3kdmg +40%slow +60% spell slow)
- (Not cureable, but resistable with MR (can cure with purify soul) )

#2 Bloodeye's Curse
- (DT! ,must be cured within 24 seconds, or you die, cureable with RGC, RC, purfiy soul)
- 45 second recast, its random who it hits, but hits most people


Skyra (Killed with 28 Anguish people)

Task given by: Nightmoon (Stoneroot falls) [Raid Task]
Reward: Gives 1 Cure of BLood AA, 2/3 pieces of anguish quality loot, 2 OOW spells

He has 2 adds, but they are solo pullable, they have a pretty nasty AE dot, which needs curing.
Can kill the adds first, pull out to the hall, kill them, then kill the boss who has a ton of hps, and procs a FD on the MT.
Skyra's FD proc/spell appears to be an AE, it was at least hitting other melee folks.


Prophet tasks (Gives raid tasks) (Undershore) [Group Task]

Task 1 - Kill 10 Shadow captives (hardest one)
Task 2 - Kill 6 Praetorian guards from 7 in zone. Two are underwater cave in the center area.
task 3 - Turn into ills and stop spiders!
Task 4 - Named spawns at camp, kill. He turns into big rock, kill.
Task 5 - Goto weird space-like zone, kill mini-vish, kill another name, win.
Reward: Level 70 spell for casters, nothing for melee, and access to 2 raids.


Brovil Palivineg [Group Tasks]

*NOTE* -- There are two confirmed ways to get Brovil Palivineg to respond to you and a third unconfirmed:
Kill drachnids in Stoneroot Falls to find "Cicero's Torn Notebook" and hand it to the broken spider next to Brovil.
Once you have the book hand it into "Model XG CVIII" in Corathus, near all of the mechanical gnomes.
or
Have someone in your group who can talk to Brovil get you the first task, completion of "The Lost Notebook" mission flags the group to be able to talk to Brovil.

A third possible way is an alternate location for the book:
Get book from "The Drachnid Champion" spawns in Stoneroot Deep, in a spider tower at the very topm near Xil.

1) The Lost Notebook - Collect 9 pages from The Hive (Random drops from spiders)
- Reward: 120hp/mana mask with Wrath of Druuzil + Chest
- Recieve: Spectacular image enhancing prism (Not sure what it's for)
2) Cavern Botany - Collect 10 items from sporali zone
- Reward: +120hp/mana cloak + Chest
3) The Search for Clues - Goto a instanced zone entry point inside the hive, at Queen's Shrine.
- Kill Wicyl, The Watcher, trackable from zone in, and engage him, he will teleport one time to a different corner of the zone. Defeat him and loot his book.
- reward: +120hp/mana range with Druuzils Distance
4) Rescue Cicero! - Instance zone is the 1st door on the Hive Bridges
- This task sends you to an instanced zone whos entrance is at the edge of one of the cacoons in the back of The Hive. Once inside, invis or clear to the very top of the spiral and kill the two guardians, then open the cacoon they were protecting. Slay the boss who emerges, then open the cacoon that the boss spawns, Cicero will emerge, and you must now follow him around the zone and kill the spiders he agros.

End Reward:
Goto "Brother Hidden Path" in undershore(-900, +745) and receive your level 69 disc or spell.


Kelliad (Stoneroot falls) 705, -1856 [Group Task]

Tells you to talk to: Meldrek (Stoneroot falls) -330, -1750

Task 1 - Kill 25 Dracnids and get 4 hearts
- Reward: Warped mask (90hp/mana)
Tast 2 - Kill 25 more Drachnids
- Search for an information (kill Warlord Drellek and loot tome)
- Reward: Neck (80hp/90mana)
Task 3 - Ton of things to kill and collect, big long list.
- Reward:Cloak (90mana/hp)
Task 4 - This one has been changed, most of the mobs see invis and doing it without a rogue/sk/monk that can fd / invis their way to the important spots is not advised, unless you want to kill an extra 20-30 or so mobs.
--------- Turn into a spider and follow some dude, then kill him and another named.
--------- Send one person invis to the Monolith to click it.
--------- This opens a doorway that was sealed nearby. Head inside and follow the path forward - ignore right turn for now.
--------- In cage room, get maximum shrink then go through the bars to the chest, click it to trigger switch.
--------- Head back the way you came to the path you avoided on the way here, go that way.
--------- Bring group from named kill area to this new room with the wide open platform and 2 underwater exits (apart from the one you came in by).
--------- In one of the rooms fine Illsuras, Prince and 2 guards. Enter invis and watch the emotes. After prince leaves bring group inside to kill 2 guards. Loot chest.
--------- Head back outside to the open platform and have someone click on the CENTER blue ball between the other 2 balls. Teleport stones will appear. When all are inside the ring click one of the stones to leave.
- reward: (130hp/mana shoulders)
task 5: say "Ready to proceed" to Meldrek, seems sort of bugged cause of faction you cant get that line without sneak.
- Kill prince, return head.
- Reward: (120hp/130mana mask)

Goto "Brother Hidden Path" in undershore(-900, +745) and receive your level 68 disc or spell.


Shadowwalker Dusrspirit (Stoneroot Falls) (-660, 860) [Group Tasks]

Task 1 - Freeing an Elder (Find an elter in nest instance)
task 2 - Orb of Subversion (Find an orb in nest instance)
Task 3 - a Plea For Help (
task 4 - Trailing Longshadow (Follow a spider around for a while, mobs pop on you from time to time)
Task 5 - Confronting a Traitor (Kill a named spider in wolf instance, he ports from room to room as his health goes down, clear all rooms)

Rewards: Various mediocre items(100hp/mana), no final result from doing all 5 that I know of.

Cut/paste these to appropriate Files (in the "maps" directory in the Everquest Directory) to have the waypoints marked for you.
Each was done ASAP when I saw update on my screen so should be no need to wander.....

Dreadspire:

The zone in to Dreadspire is behind a 5800 hitting named in the hive apparently.
He's the mob at the ??? area on many peoples maps.


Access is gained by obtaining 4 items from Treddlehoop. He needs certain missions completing, and the 'extra' items you get handing in. Ever wonder what that necklace or prism are for (Those people who've completed a couple of missions with me will know what I mean)? Now we know.

Treddlehoop (Corathus Creep) [Group Task/Collections]

Task 1 - Treddlehoop's Signature Monocle (Scavenger Hunting)
Collect 4 items: 1 Shiliskin Tentacle Cluster, 1 Drachnid Silk Gland, 2 Chopping Swords. Hand them back to Treddlehoop. This is a group mission, everyone gets the needed item when you hand in the 4 items.

Shiliskin Tentacle Cluster - The tentacle clusters are dropped by the illiskin soldiers in the Ruins of Illsalin near Overseer Xygen (sp) (area near Explore:_Imperial_Audience_Chamber on the map refereences above i believe).
Drachnid Silk Gland - Glands are dropped by the drachnids in and around the massive cocoons inside The Hive.
Chopping Swords - These are dropped orcs in Stoneroot Falls.

Task 2 - Spectacular Image Enhancing Prism (The Lost Notebook - Kelliad (68 Spell) Mission 2)
Detailed in the Kelliad missions above.

Task 3 - Gold and Platinum Twined Necklace (The Lost Gnomes)
Mazil Hibbinap in Corathus Creep will give you this task, I did it in the first week with a few others - appears to go nowhere, now we know why.

Entrance to instance is the topmost instance entrance on the hive map, on the 'living bridges'. This is the same instance use in Brovil Palivineg's Task 3 The Search for Clues.

You need to open the cocoons looking for gnomes. Most of them will spawn nothing or monsters, some of them will spawn gnomes. At least two of the gnomes you rescue will turn into spiders once freed and you'll have to kill them, the others will follow you like a pet: take them to the entrance.

We cleared the first room, however the number of drachnids in here is staggering. The second room we had myself (SK) kite the 20+ drachnids around the outside, while Zagrum moved around the outside opening cocoons and pulling any mobs/gnomes out into the first huge room. All 6 (4? I forget) gnomes were in the first 2 rooms.

Task 4 - Golden Shiliskin Tentacle Ring (Deserting the Ranks)
Zahn in Undershore (Near Prophet camp) gives out this task. Task requester gets a shawl you'll need later in the mission.

The mission is located in Illsalin (NOT Temple of Korlach). The zone layout is the same as the first Prophet mission.

Find the chest, it could be located in any 1 of 4 or 5 places. Kill the Guardian of the Pit and enter the room behind, stop in the NE corner. Hand in the shawl to one of the FD shiliskins to complete this step. After that, shiliskins will begin waking up and attacking you.

During this time, Emperor Draygun will be wandering around -- you can ignore him. After killing 6 or 7 of the shiliskins, 3 will spawn at once including a reanimated captain. The captain drops an insignia which you need to take back to Zahn and hand in to complete the mission and receive the reward.
