I tried the combine with Clay of Cosgrove Sample, after getting the clay and the 5 Purest Water, but even if the quest line appeared, it did NOT update after I made the unfired lion clay statue (of course I did the combine in Brell's room)...

So it looks like I need to collect all items before...

BTW I was able to solo the Brell's Temple part

Just petition it, I stupidly made all of the combines in PoK instead of Brell's Temple and GM just gave me the updates as if I had. A guildie of mine went through a couple rounds of /petitions on this section for reasons resembling yours and finally got it worked out. GL to you.

Thanks, I finished getting all drops and then asked for replacement, I got what I missed and finished the combines (not fail at all).
Now I am working on leveling tailoring...
