Hello,
I'm looking to do the DoD Solo tasks for the Ancient Werewolf skull.
I've been reading over the information on the reference desk and I'm a little confused.
The solo tasks to get the skull list completing 5 different series.
The first series is the bellfast series.
If I scroll down just a little it lists the bellfast series, but it's a GROUP task.
It looks like all the series needed for the skull are group tasks.
If so, why is this listed as a solo track?
Is there a solo/group/raid version of each task?
Thanks in advance.

The Quest is SOLO gotten "The Depths of Darkhollow"
http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/ques ... quest=3264But to get each of the Clickys you must do a series of Group tasks
Bellfast in Corathus Creep is the task-giver Fire clicky
Shadowalker Dustspirit in Stoneroot Falls is the task-giver Cold Cliky
Widdlethorpe Gemfinder in Stoneroot Falls is the task-giver magic Clicky
Jarzarrad the Prophet in Undershore is the task giver Posion Clicky
Brovil Pallivineg in Corathus Creep is the task giver Diease Clicky
All 5 clickys - makes the mask clicky
This is a five-part task, where you must complete each of five quest lines and come back and finish this afterward. You can start this task "The Depths of Darkhollow" before or after you've finished the five quest lines.

Ok, that sucks I guess.
No one is going to want to do DoD Tasks.
How hard are these?
Could I dual box with a 73 shaman and 70 warrior. Both with about 120 AAs?

Wow, that really sucks.
I can't do the Flowers of Functionailty quests in Plane of Mischief.
I can't do the DoD quests for the Mask.
And I'm too low to do the MMs for a resist clicky.
I guess I'll have to stick with my level 5 mask that has 25 resist clicky.
Thanks for the info.

The easy versions don't count as qualifying you for the mask

Yeah, but you have to be either 80 or 85 to do those MMs, which the OP is not.

Actually, unless it's changed in the last patch, the group average is what has to be 80. But the req'd level for the crown is still 80.

Plus it's not instant, so not as valuable versus dispellers

One factor of importance is whether or not you are using defiant/dragonscale/loping gear or not. The gear that became available from those sets could very likely make your duo able to complete the tasks, with mercenary help. Not every task will be completable, but by the time you finish the ones you can complete, the additional experience/aa should help you with the ones you couldn't do at the beginning.

Easiest mission series? Hard to say, there are some missions that were substantially harder and/or buggy to complete (68.3, 69.4) If you want to try one to get an idea of the difficulty, try Lost Gnomes on normal. The aug will be useful to you if you beat it regardless and give you some idea of how hard it will be to do these.
