Help on Sending a Message

There is a task given by the gnolls in ocean green village called "sending a message".

You zone into blackburrow.
Step 1 Kill a prominent member of the black burrow gnolls and loot his finger.
Step 2 kil XX Gnolls.

What do you need to do for the finger?

I have not seen any named in Blackburrow (other then enraged gnoll brewmaster who did not drop anything and I am not sure if he is a named or not.)
Possible placeholders woudl be the Enraged high gnoll commanders, have killed a few of them with no luck getting a named or a finger.
Have killed enraged high gnoll shaman with same results no name no finger.

What am I missing?
Where are the named?

Kill named... loot finger

There were 2 named that we killed... both had 6 fingers, enough for a full group to get fingers for quest

I assume any named can drop fingers

Sadly snakes don't have fingers

Done this quest 3 times... Named has been in three different places... /shrug

If I a not mistaken, anything in the zone with the name enraged /insertnamedname is a ph for a named.

In my case, we knocked down the enraged brewer, till the brewer spawned. Bazam. 6 quest pieces. I think you can reach the enraged commander and the enraged brewer from one camp.

Actually gnolls with "special names" seem to be PH. One of the easiest ones to find stands upon Elite Ledge. The middle gnoll in the trio is the PH.
