In SoD? I like the long involved, and decent reward quests.

They were not clear about this in Beta, but it appears that each theme in the expansion has small collection items for sub-tasks. A good example is that the tasks in Oceangreen Hills and Village each give a piece of Bayle's Crest. Cirtan, the Supplier for Bayle, sells a container that appears to combine the smaller pieces together into an item and you need to complete each of the tasks involved to get the final quest piece. Similarly, Field of Scale has Iksar Bones, Toksirakk has Mini-Rallosian handguards, and there was one I saw in beta in Discord itself associated with zone tasks. It appears that they have learned that folks like the aug type quests and have provided one for each of the 5-6 major themes.

Basicly if you did the tasks in the preview it was not giving the quest drop.

in some time in the future they plan to have a NPC to hail to give you the missing drops.

I think it is the same NPC they were planing to add to store all the big quest items from this and other older expations.

The collection quest line in Field of Scale theme results in an iksar skeleton illusion clickie.

The collection quest line in Plane of Earth theme results in a battle ogre familiar.

When do you get to the Plane of Earth theme for this? That Ogre Familiar looks pretty cool to me.
