Easy aug quest in Mesa

If you've an hour or so to kill, Scout Madu (west of zonein from Moors in Mesa) has a series of 5 giant themed quests, involving killing some fast-respawning named giants to the north of the zone. They hit for 500s, are slowable and summon - easily soloable by anyone with Q or better.

The rewards are a choice as follows:

Once you've got a reward the quest resets, so if you can stomach doing it all again you can get another aug. Of note is the fact the AC aug fits in a secondary slot...

does anyone by chance know of any of the new zones that a lvl 70 shaman can solo in? or what would be the best place for a shaman to group at ?

Solo Icefall Glacier. Tons of room, animals from level 71-76, salable drops & tradeskill pelts drop lots.

What wand? I saw the text saying I got a wand, but I got nothing on my cursor or in my inventory. I got nothing from finishing it the first time that I can see. I was hoping to use this quest to help fill in some aug slots my boxes have empty.

Just worked through it with no problem. You do have to come up on Bigone with invis up and just spam "hail" then drop invis. Pixie dust will not work. If it does not work, just kill him and wait the 12min to try again. I have done the quest 3 times and it takes about a hour long as everything is up.

Quest Details; not exact but atleast give ya an idea
1. stay in Mesa and investigate certain areas of zone, nothing sees through invis

2. talk to 4 different giants in order (actually just have to kill them), they are all to the north by steppes zone

3. A. go back to cresent reach and speak with 3 different npcs, 1st is on 2nd floor, 2nd is on 1st floor, 3rd is on 2nd floor.
3. B. you then have to go speak with a scout in blightfire moors, he is located middle of zone with other quest givers.
3. C. Head to stonehive and loot the ?refined jum jum pollen 2nd floor up elevator and I have gotten it on a few different things.
3. D. Return pollen to 3npc back in cresent reach

4. Have to try and speak with 5 different giants. This is where the Bigone issue is. You can do them out of order since all 5 are on the list. Once you hail you just get task updated message.

5. Kill Bigone

Return for your reward.

There is a mid 40ish lvl, 75hp 75mana no drop ring which seems to be random drop in zone. Both a caster and melee version, got the melee one so I didnt keep it or write it down.
