I started out in arcstone, the zone in can be found in freeport at the top of the tower. I honestly did not spend much time in arcstone onyl enought o kill a few named and find the mission to get into tower. Fromt he way my melee acted with the ae slow, I am thinking once the novelty wears off getting any melee to go there is going to be a pain. hopefully not because i was seeing some nice links coming out of the different areas.

Arcstone

the 10 ac 95 hp/mana/end 6 all stats aug comes from killing 13 named skrykin, which appear to include raid mobs, as well as named in Relic. You get this quest by first speaking to the emissary outside the zone, and following his instructions to talk to a guy next to the 4th born.

the key to get to the first born skrykin is obtained by killing the three dragons in relic. I assume that's the start of the raid porgression.


Relic

there is an explore quest ('lost brother') given by a guy near zone in. Unlike other explore quests, this requires killing some mobs at some of the places you are asked to explore.

Freeport

several group mission givers, some of which require faction. One that doesn't is on the waterfront, and gives a mission to clear out the 'theatre' (of tranquility, i.e. the old monk guild) of spooks and bards. Click on the door to the theatre with the quest active to get in, mobs are blue@70 and hit about 800.

Elldar Forest
group mission giver near zone in, gives task to head to Tunare's shrine. Mobs are yellow and red@70, non-KOS until you open the chest at the top of the shrine, at which point you find out they hit 1300 or so.

also two quest givers by edge of forest, who give non-time limited quests to kill giants, orc loggers, and deliver a package to the plane of Growth. Rewards for these are ~170 hp.

Info on Skylance: The Library:

Did this with War, Clr, Chanter, Mage, Wiz, Shm. 2nd try and was easier once we knew what to expect. Mobs do repop in instance.

Started with the named on tower to the left as you zone in. Kill all kos Skrykin in that tower, pulled named down, throughout the fight he called for help, and spawned about 5 books on top of his tower. They did not aggro us since we were below fighting. Moved to next tower clockwise and did the same thing, although this named casts a knockback - . We moved clockwise again and cleared 3rd tower, but trying to get up to Librarian to do turn in, aggrod the books on the first tower. So we pulled them all and dropped em. Books have a lot less HP than the Skrykin. We were going to have the warrior train the books away and I was going to do turn in, but decided to kill the books

Info on Skylance: The Oubliette:

Upon zoning in, you are in a center circular room with 2 paths leading out. The 2 rooms off this contained about 4 or 5 eggs each. We nuked each egg from zone in area and got the update. Receiving the egg is only a text message. I'm sure we got lucky, and if we didn't get the update, we would've had to clear and crawl through some.
