I have had the good fortune to have acquired two Sympathetic Augs:
Darkened Gem of the Leviathan with Sympathetic Alleviation VII (chance to recover 250 mana when casting a detrimental spell)
and
Red Gold Sphere with Sympathetic Fire VI (chance to cast a 200 fire nuke)
what i don't know is if these co-exist well, and if there is any mod that increases the chance to fire that?

Nothing that increases the chance for one proc, but doubling up does (roughly) double the chances of hitting it. The other Sympathetic Alleviation augment you can get is from in Fungus Grove
