our has a crappy proc (scourge, 240 dot), when all other caster have a 1500 DD, I would like to have same proc, we need to have 6 tics of dot to get same damage...

rought guestimate, at max you might expect 5ppm if you are a meele with weapon affinity AAs

3,8k damage per minute around 63 dps



any other proc
1500 x 5ppm = 7,5k damage per minute makes it around 125 dps


if we would have weapon affinity aas that would make it aprox 60 dps difference

Silk and priests don't get weapon affinity but can reach combat effects 100, so it is like 3 procs per minute? So likely it's something less than 40 dps at max in reallity.

You could argue that the dot runs for longer time, even if you are "distcracted" doing other stuff, like healing, and continue doing damage.

Usually I am after any bit of dps/healing I can get, in this special case I like the fact that ours is a little different to the others.

Even if you are not the mainhealer, I have the feeling that as a grouper in this expension you are going to be busy alot to keep your party alive, so possibly our dot might be even on par with a seemingly higher dd-proc.

Btw, dps-caster maybe get a 1.5k dd, but we are priests.

Druids get an 275 dd proc, meeles procs are far less, Clerics kept hand of holy venecance: random 175 to 250.

As for the weapon procc on those boomerang-weapons I don't think we have something to worry about.

Your initial post where misleading and made me think all non-meele got the 1,5k dd.

I dont think its asking too much to change it.

DoTs wont work with twinproc, and doesnt work welll with multiple procs in a row etc.

Not to mention 240x6 = 1440 so we arent asking for much more just asking for it all at once instead of over time.

Though speaking of which I have never had a twinproc. Dont think its quite working.

The Druid proc I would say needs a little help. The Cleric proc is a group heal so really more in line when you consider its meant to heal 6 people.
In fact if I had to choose I would rather have the Cleric proc than ours.
Priests and Casters generally have had better procs then melee since our melee pretty much sucks anyway.

Just not asking for a whole heck of alot when you put it in perspective to change it.

Whats the big deal about a dot or DD proc on our weapons,its not like were melee DPS.I would rather have a clicky group buff of some sort or better yet a clicky disease debuff to pull with to help with VP.

"Spamhammer" is a class of weapon. They're priest-only, they proc Hand of Holy Vengeance # which damages the target and heals the group, they have a super high proc mod. Clerics have had a bunch, shm & dru usable ones began in SoD.
