I would like to have single HoT as type 3, I propose 3 alternatives, let me know what you thin of them:
1) Change our group HoT duration aug in a group AND single HoT duration aug
pro : usefull for all shamies, raider and non-raiders
con : other priest class may ask for same, so dev may not agree on that
2) Add a new type 3 aug for single target HoT
pro : we can choose which one we want or even have both if enough slot 3
con : need 2 slot 3 augs, other priests may ask the same
3) Add a new type 3 aug for single target HoT which is lore with the group HoT
pro : we can still choose the one we want (and only one kind)
con : none ?
Let me know if you think we can ask for that...

I don't think A) is technically feasable - I don't know if they have the ability to make foci that affect two different spells without affecting a category of spells. Admittedly, they could probably do an "increase duration by one tick on all HoT spells between 76 and 80" or whatever, but the trouble with this is it opens up a whole can of worms.

From a technical standpoint, having it affect 2 different spells should not be a problem.
They have to have some sort of mechanism built into the code -- via a variable, or an if clause -- that adds a modifier if you have a focus on the spell. If it's done with an if clause, it's dead easy to add another if clause; if it's done with a variable, it will probably take a few minutes to write the code so that the variable is properly changed when either spell is cast.
The real rub would be whether devs would fear that other classes would squawk, "We get x spells affected by these new foci, but those damn shamans managed to get x+1. No fair!"

You can disagree with the way I said it, but your point sure looks like it is the same as mine. Whichever way it gets phrased, asking for it to affect both spells is asking to be +1 over everyone else.

I'm only saying it the way I said it because I have -no- -idea- (though I doubt) that classes -currently- have the same number of type3 augs.

Ah.
I assumed everyone had one for each faction. Is that not the case?
