The idea is that the raid gear all had slot 3s, so (during beta) I asked if the group gear could also get a slot 3 version too, considering that LDoN is the group expansion. It seems Merloc listened, but rather than adding it globally, he created a "deluxe" version of each item (with a lower droprate) with a slot 3.

The reason I asked was because I know there's a nice 8% dodge aug from Everfrost and I sorely wanted to equip it again! The spin-off from that is it makes the minor mod augs from LDoN worthwhile again for non-raiders like myself: extra regen, damage shields, melee haste, extra ATK and of course that lovely dodge mod.

BTW, the "all slot" augs have been changed to exclude slot 3, so if you're in the market for a charm in the group game don't bother paying extra for one with a slot 3.

It has been said that there will be type 3 focus augs to throw in that slot from the new expansion.

Well, up in Gyrospire Beza, there's this one named, who drops both and another version (who's name is stolen from my memory and is not listed on the mob's bestiary page) that also has a type 3 slot.

Wait till next year when the SoF slot 3 augs will be added.

Does +% Dodge show on Magelo? Or +% Alteration?

Dodge doesn't - in fact it doesn't even appear on the aug (on one of my rings atm).

I'd imagine it'd be the same for the other skill mods.

EDIT: Just checked my 5% to 1HB club, that doesn't show up as a skill mod either.
