CoA vs Praetorian

My guild is currently farming CoA except OMM, so I could pick up the ritualchanter peices fairly easy. I am also about halfway toward ally in Katta and getting praetorian armor. Would it be worth the dkp to pick up CoA peices? only certain ones? The BP for clicky im guessing, the gloves for healing? and then fill the rest out with praetorian?
My magelo is a bit outdated, I am 75 now with a few more aa etc but the gear is mostly the same.
What other CoA peices are a must have while we are there? (will be getting 2.0 of course) Thanks for the help guys

If a shaman is a bot so only casting Talis of Panther and Spectre of Renewal on a single group (the shaman's own) and no other spells, Spec Alter mod is worth approximately an extra Clarity buff. That's strong. People pay 25 AA for the same scale of effect. If the shaman in question casts any other heals or buffs or debuffs, the value rockets up. In the majority of difficult fights, where a shaman plays a completely supporting role (as opposed to running out the elite shm dps because there's nothing better to do), putting on an item with Spec Alter mod is about the same as adding the same percentage mod to that shaman's base mana pool and on to every canni he(she) casts. Your Magelo shows 11000 mana, Unmei, making buffed mana pool around 12k. A similar mod for enchanters (Conjuration if we're chain mezzing) would be the equivalent of a +1300ish mana item for you when the shit hit the fan. Not bad for a single loot that has other very good stats

Mana is an issue for me, I find I burn my mana fast on many fights. If I sting as frequently as I want to I go oom, so I have to hold off doign dps.

I mean what about CotW dead folk, patching the MA, doting/nuping/debuffing the main mob and all the adds, rebuffing the dead, light offtanking where necessary. You know, the usual raid stuff shaman do
