Platinum Efreeti armor?

Various Platinum Efreeti items drop in Atiiki from random mobs, about 1-2 per mission. We have been looting them sporadically since we dind't know what to do with them. Now I see the on Lucy and wonder if the no-stats stuff can be turned in somewhere in TBS for armor. Has anybody discovered anything along these lines, by any chance? Is it really melee only or does it depend on the class that turns it in?

There are some jewel/smithing combines that sound similar, but maybe something to look at . Maybe there is a platinum conduit yet to be made and used for this?

They say they are a quest item, and do not say they can be used in tradeskills. So, some type of undiscovered quest is my guess.
