could also make them invulnerable to mitigation, so that they'd be better than standard slows against tough mobs. the deails aren't really important to me, i just think the idea of getting a reward in the area of slowability at the cost of getting hit would be a good thing.

or you could just cap slow effects at 75%. not like they'll be putting any 80% slows in anytime soon.
edit: or 4 x natural delay or however you want to word it.
the more i think about it, the more i like it. shaman could have a powerful tool versus mitigation that would automatically scale itself to both the difficulty of the content and the gear of the shaman. if you're already geared well enough to take a beating in rss, well, then you'd be a lot more powerful there than someone who isn't. it wouldn't put anyone over the top of stuff that's cutting edge to them, but it would appropriate scale them to be able to beat the crap out of things they could already beat. a really well geared shaman might be able to step up to raid adds and things like that, but there would be no point in throwing one in front of a raid boss unless the duration was really long.
