All good things come to an end
Posted: Sun Dec 13, 2009 6:33 pmI participated in Underfoot's beta, and see that this expansion will be doing little for shamans. Of the only two worthwhile AAs we got, one was pulled because of druids complaining, leaving us with only one good new AA. As for spells, they're for the most part a complete charlie foxtrot as far as tuning goes, despite loads of feedback to the devs about the problems with the spells and the issues that shamans face in general. Any number of things that leave me with no desire to purchase the expansion.
That, combined with the road the game has been going, between the pay-for-content model becoming more and more intrusive with LoN and Marketplace, as well as the lack of effort on the part of the majority of the Devs (Ngreth being the sole exception) to take or recieve any feedback from the playerbase, has left me with no desire to continue giving SOE my monthly subscriptions.
To the rest of the shamans out there, I wish you the best of luck with this game, but I have decided that it's time for me to move on.
