Paineel. Love it, the undead band, the rooftop garden, the Hole just there, tempting you to your demise, the key needed so others can't just saunter in. So much noble and horrifying history and lore. The skeleton guards, the ghoul librarian, love Paineel. Love Erudian for the torture chamber, never thought those goody Erudes would have such a menacing area in their pristine city.

Shar Vhal definately, lots of fun newbie quests and the city is all one zone. Cabalis would be a close second.

I was lvl 18 before i realised EQ was bigger then FoBones, Kurns and Cabilis

much love for my first EQ memories in halas. lost in halas itself, freaking out to the "you have entered a PVP area" message, finally finding my way out using the EQ manual maps...then 100% on my own. walking past the gaurds and down that narrow valley, and seeing mob after mob walking by...and "LOADING, please wait". i spent my first 2 weeks or so of the game in everfrost, getting lost in the maze of mountian passes, while trying to find a way out of here, sometimes making it to the plains, where a mammoth or cat would kill me

I love Halas,...but voted for Rivervale...Love the halfling city and newb area of Misty Thicket
