Re: Dakota's suggestion: I'd like it as much as the next shaman, but it's never going to happen, they've already said as much. Precisely BECAUSE of the impact and irreplacability of the TA - it's too overpowered an item, to mimic it in an AA would be repeating the same mistake.

but if a majority believe its an issue, would it be pressed or would personal wishes prevail?

Time's Antithesis is an itemization problem, not a power problem. An activated AA with similar functionality would solve the problem. 2sec cast, 5sec cooldown, just like Entrap and Death Peace AAs (both activated AA variants of level 50's core class spells), would make Time's Antithesis a narrow use tool for the well heeled level 80 shaman.

Scowls means that with the Mastery of the Past AAs being added, fizzling Turgur's or Balance won't be an issue any more...

I'd buy it the very first chance I got. No doubt in my mind. Even if it came without the resist check as Dakota's question suggest.
Edit:
Oh and the epic has a built in aggro reducer so in essence you'd get that cause you could have the epic in your hand when you cast the AA.
