I'd love to have a right click Cani item that I could spam between spell castings, like how my wizard right clicks his maelin's legs between spell casts. However, given the current itemization patterns I very much doubt that any such item would ever be considered.

A 10th spell slot would be great.
I think a neat way to compromise would to have a 10th spell slot via aa that allows you only to scribe spells with a 30 second or greater recast delay. For instance, you could stick champion in there so it wouldn't perma-lock down one of your other spell slots. I haven't played a shaman since early pop but as a bard I usually keep DA memmed in the 9th slot. Would be nice to put a spell that your going to have memmed constantly in a spell slot that is out of the way.

I value your input, but you should understand that you are going to get grief here just because your interests lie elsewhere! =]
Unmei, every time someone asks you for haste next raid, buff them, unmem it, mem it, buff them, unemem it, mem it, buff them. Same goes for clairvoyance.
Let me know how it feels. Then go ahead and do it for a few years and tell me how you think buffing from 1 slot owns =b
(I'm not ragging on enchanters, but your haste / cv isn't as critical and IMO they shouldn't be asking you for it mid-fight. EVERYONE needs to have clarity/haste potions.)
Most clerics will be hard pressed to buff you mid fight, so it makes focus/fort/sense have even more value btw.
