Now only missing meaty lore from original release, Kunark and Velious manuals... if same exists. I came in with Trilogy just before Luclin, and don't have any of my manuals anymore anyway.

Thanks for your efforts in keeping the lore and history of EQ alive, such as it is. In my various stumblings around the web I found the "Lore of Norrath" site, which I thought would beworth your attention.



While I haven't had a solid look through it, it does seem to contain a massive amount of lore info including most of the in game books. Maybe some of it is useful to you.

I also remember 3-4 years ago there was another lore site that published a hlp or chm (help file) format that included a lot of early lore as well. I'll see if I is sitting in among my other EQ junk when I get home, but I don't hold too much hope of finding it.

Thanks, all. Lore of Norrath has timelines and stuff, but I haven't found anything in the same vein, the same flavor, as the other releases' lore. Still looking.

You might wanna add in that section plane of war was scrapped and the encounters combined into tactics stuffing both sons (who were originally in war into tactics with daddy) -- scrapped due to the wildest pathing you've ever seen

Also there are 3 OFFICIAL Hate Revamps + the introduction of hate/fear which you have dated mostly correct... Although the live events for hate revamps 2 and 3 were limited to legends

Also Bloody Kithicor the original release event for hate dropped an artifact and a title to the artifact obtainer Malevolence http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=2631 which it took me 3 years to get added so that I could wield it, and paladins removed from it... and the title awarded was The Malevolent, 1 per server

I havent been able to find the best of the best stuff, but ill keep lookin on my old HD

The resurrection aka the last hate revamp awarded a title to 3 people "The Sacrifice" (all 3 were trolls I believe), GM Pugigi presided as the acolyte and 3 visions of innoruuk were awarded http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=61020 (I betrayed the light elves, and stole part of the tablets with the spell inscription and gromzek stone to resurrect the child of hate)... as an interesting aside in my own memoirs, I challenged the lore mistress of EQ and Lanys herself for the title Child of Hate and with the release of the epic 1.5s I got my opportunity and defeated her solo in the Instanced Realm of Hate where I aquired this http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=4098 (my 5th artifact)

Those books also tell his story, iirc, which is pretty messed up. All about the Shissar and their godmaking experiments.

Thanks, Shamu. There are sites that document every single bit of lore; I was shooting for more of an informative overivew, not the details about who ate what and farted where in year 097ef8q4.f9734v or the like. There are dedicated Iksar timeline sites, Sleeper sites, etc. that go into more depth.
