I've been away for a while, and just came back for some much-needed de-stressing and all-around tuning-out. Not only am I six -- yes, six -- expansions behind, but I've completely lost track of some of the more basic changes to the game, including those regarding pets. Having also played a mage (now 57), I automatically solo my shaman (now 50) with a pet -- I've never considered the root/rot method. So here's my somewhat embarrassing question: how much XP, if any, is fido taking away from my kills these days? Put another way: is there an XP advantage to the root/rot method?
Thanks for your help!
