Posted: Tue Dec 06, 2005 12:22 amI never thought it would ever happen to me. Nobody really does though, do they? I expected I would be there til the bitter end, fighting whatever Sony threw at us. But Tonight was when I finally came to the realization, that after a month of logging in, maybe twice for an hour, that I no longer wished to continue this game, and I no longer jonesed when I didnt get a chance to play. The enjoyment when i first started was an absolute blast, but after the 3 years I've been playing, it's finally taken me from being random newb that didn't even know what 'slow' was, let alone when to use it, to what I consider a top of the line shaman, at the peak of his game skillwise, sitting in Anguish armor, killing the lords in the halls of Anguish. Such a trip.
Unfortunately, I'm really bad at goodbyes and do not expect to leave Crucible for quite awhile. I'd like to thank all of the posters and moderators who offered such a wonderful database of information for shamans, and I hope that it continues growing ever so much. I've learned alot from crucible, and alot from personal experiences in the game. But, the time has come for Tidykat Leondegrance to rise up and serve the world as a Wasichu, and an ever watchful eye over the ruined City of Torsis.
My final goodbyes were in Shar Vahl with the one my family's role play lore deems to be Grandfather, As well as goodbyes to my shaman teacher, and best wishes in the teachings of future Dar Khura. Afterwards, I fled to Torsis, City of Mist, to camp out forever sitting on the bridge before the city gates. Rebound in that spot, said my goodbyes and offered Tidykat to the Wasichu, not cloaked in his armor from the Citadel or from outer planes, but he wears his most humble of belongings, those he brought with him before he met the people of Cohort Chalybeius, his most prized armor he now wears in eternity.

Was alot harder to quit than I thought. Account is cancelled, expires December 6th, talk about timing. I retire myself to the ranks of the older retired shaman, who curse the young whippersnappers with their foolish ways, and how they have it easy these days.. My.. back in my day we fought dragons uphill for 10 miles, with hordes of people... not just 2 or 3 men fighting downhill.. darned youngins...oh there I go bein old already...
