From tests I ran back when Ikkinz Kyvs were murderous beasts that could rape your ubertank in one round, slow does not override haste. If a MoB hits at a rate of 100 and haste adds 50 to that, then you 70% slow them, the MoB won't be hitting at a rate of 30, but 45. I suck at math, so take that as you will. pulling them with slow, praying taunt worked, and then dispelling them worked wonders into making them managable monsters.

So that's why I took 2500 damage in the time it took to slow a green Kyv in DS...he procc'd every single swing for the first 5 swings, maybe he was hasted... All I know is that they are the most annoying greens to farm for faction, and they are so resistant it makes me want to smash my keyboard. I am 20-30 levels higher than them, why are they resisting my spells while I take full damage from their procs... (I just realized it is a chromatic -150 resist check, no wonder it is so hard to resist, time to start buffing all resists when I farm them. All along I thought it was a poison check.).
Blues in Bloodfields take longer to kill, but at least they give experience, don't proc, and they don't resist every thing I throw at them. I just wish there were more mobs that gave Loyalist faction and weren't a pain to kill.

i think as far as kyv go, they have a haste/attack buff, slow may lower theier attack rate, but their attack is enormous still...annul fixes that

well as math would see it:(im only in algebra 2 so i could be totally wrong lol)
Hasted MobA: hits at a regular delay of lets say...30...with a 60%haste so 30x.60=18 30-18=12...so a hasted mob would hit for 12delay. 12x.75=9 9+12=21, so as my understanding using this math a hasted mob witha delay of 12 would be slowed to a delay of 21..
Unhasted MobB: has a regular delay of 30...with no haste. 30x.75=22.5 30+22.5=52.5 delay.
Using those configurations that would mean a hasted slowd mob hits faster than a unslowed regular mob. And we must take into account that not every mob gets slowed 75%...
Anyone agree with me? Or does this not prove crap =), cuz honestly i dont know even know just shooting it out there.

Observations of slowing pets that break charm, (and also of being slowed while meleeing) indicate to me (though I've not parsed this or anything) that slow counteracts haste. You slow a hasted mob, and he's slowed the same amount as the same unhasted mob would be.
Of course, if you were fighting said mob, you'd still want haste removed. Sometimes the haste is just one component of a buff, and sometimes slow wears off.
Also, when a PC is slowed, then the slow definitely knocks off any effect that a haste buff has. Otherwise, you'd expect to be just a bit slower than your unhasted speed, but in reality, you feel like you're attacking once a minute.
In other words, I think attack speed buff/debuff works much the same as spell haste/spell slows on mobs - and it's easy to see that spell haste works this way since you can see exactly how your cast times are affected.
