Of course, and that's been the argument for the longest time - but the argument of this thread is that since slows are playing less of a role, perhaps it's time to reevaluate said principle. Conversely, if TA was having such a large effect on balance, that's all the more reason to think about whether we need to either compensate for it, or nerf it altogether so that it doesn't create a gap between those with TA and those without.
I just can't see how good game design is served by doing what Ummei suggests and being thankful that the devs didn't address a hole in their balance scheme.
