No way. Shaman are
not unfairly powerful at the moment. From my mid-level perspective,
especially compared to how rough things were growing up, shaman are at a great place in power. We are not paper-thin, have all sorts of healing and curing tools, good buffs and debuffs, and can contribute a good amount of DPS on top of this. And we don't infringe on any other class, although we do give druids and chanters a run for their money... Sure, there are annoying things like a lot of overly long recast times and some useless spells, but this is probably true for most classes anyway. And this alarming trend to tie up yet more spell gems... that sucks.
I'd like to see more survivability (rune-less Anc Guard, spook, or minishadowstep), an upgraded pet (80-100 DPS?), more debuffs (AC and ATK) or be able to realize more of our current potential raid DPS (via built-in resists), but could live without them. But I don't think we should be demanding for built-in resists AND more DOT power AND bigger nukes AND group panther AND combined buffs AND a good deal more healing AND better canni AND, well you get the idea...
Asking for better heals, more DPS, and better mana regen -- just those 3 together, if granted, would begin to overpower shamans.
