Why all this effort to make us a dps class?

I totally agree, our spell damage is fine, too bad it gets resisted way to much, takes too long to cast, and also (hihi dr dots) takes a billion years for it to do any real damage, and meanwhile we are " malos.slow.spot healing cause cleric sucks. champion, leopard,. million other buffs. * we dont have time for the ordinary cast times and resist rate of our spells.

Also all the retard shaman Bots and other classes who have no idea what the real problem with our dps is, should read this thread careful, its not a matter of the DAMAGE on the spells its the inherent trouble of trying to find the time to do our weak dps, that gets resisted, whilist doing other jobs we have to do., Also the taunt involved and the length mobs last now days its IMPOSSIBLE on a REGULAR xp mob to do descent dps. I find the parses of shaman dps vs katta banker to be a idiots look at a problem, its like trying to be like " well dps aint bad against a mob thats expansions old and doesnt give us xp.. now everyone wanted to grp kill katta banker instead of say Rss or Mpg or Dons.. that'd be fine.. but we arent and it isnt alright.

I myself have grouped for id say 90% of my shaman carrer, been playing since before kunark and shaman has been my main for 5 years, we used to be fine, WAY back.. alot better than it is now, now days i dont even bother dotting mostly, just leopard, and its a joke that my main dps comes from a 1minute duration buff i cast on others... thats just stuiped..thats not even my dps, i WISH that mobs lasted longer and werent all 30 second quick death weak hard hitting mobs.
