I am really gutted by this. I loved the series, It should have been 2-3 books shorter - his editors let him go on a little too much with braid tugging and skirt smoothing, but they are really enjoyable.

The books contain some of my favourite written passages. Scenes that are so strong they bring tears to my eyes and re-readign them is a joy. Two passages above all others stand out for me

Book1: The story about the fall of Manethrene.

Book11: Nynaeve leaving Lan at Worlds End and then the scene in the bar with the Malkieri merchant. "Will Lan Mandrogaran ride to the Last Battle alone?"
