pre 71 spells needed

Hello, bit of advice needed from you more experienced tree-huggers. So I'm leveling up a drood box to duo with my bsty. Currently its at level 65 with few of its post 60 spells. I'm wondering if I get it up past 70 if there are any of the 60-70 spells I should make it a point to get. I'm guessing the skin of the reptile spell would be one, are there any others?

From the spells below 75 the most useful may are

useful but obsoleted by aas:
lvl 68 fixed invis: cloak of nature: AA-invis obsoletes this
lvl 69 selfrune: Oaken Guard AA-rune obsoletes this

useful:
lvl 69 snare: serpent vines the latest AA-Snare will obsoltet this for most cases
lvl 70 PBAE snare/grouprune/group-DS 3 tics: Hungry Vines

musthave:
lvl 61 Hand of Ro: Debuff (attack+fire) still used at lvl 85
lvl 69 chromatic -50 root with little knockback: Spore Spiral
lvl 72 chromatic -50 Cone-root: Vinelash Cascade

all likely researchable nowadays

skin of reptile has successor at 79 and 84
Think all other spells have sucessors.

If you are powerleveling throught lvl 80 or more, Spore-spirale and vineleash cascade are the musthave.
All other just get the heal and some of the dps unless you are on par.

Vinelash is not researchable, as it is a TBS spell. Not sure about sport spiral since it's a quest spell as well (DoD).

I agree that Hand of Ro is a must have though. Plus any ports that might be in that level range.

Spore spiral is indeed researchable as I bought a copy in the bazaar
