what are you trying to trigger? Your question is really vague..

trying to set an audio trigger for when a mob is about to cast a spell so I can cast force to try to disrupt it.

The only way you can do that is to put a general one, but that will get other peoples casts, since mobs have the same cast message as players there's no general fit all one that wont work on mobs but not players unless you turn off others casts

or you have to audio trigger each mob names that you're worried about, Mob_X begins to cast a spell., Mob_Y begins to cast a spell, etc,etc

What raid mobs have interruptable spells?

There was one in TSS, FC side, since then there hasnt really been any that are important enough, if there is any at all anyway, any castable spell tho, that spells can also land will be interruptable

it seems the trend lately is for raid mobs to have interruptible spells with a cast time of zero, so the odds of interrupting are extremely slim
in the rare event the cast time is greater than zero or there is a fixed time between the casting of spells (so you could setup a timer), you would need a specific audio trigger for each spell (gamtexttriggers works well for this at gambosoft.com)

When Pallorax had the AE fear, pallies could interrupt it as well if they were fast enough

Thanks for the replys, I was ignoratnt of raid mobs not being able to be interupted , which is curious as we just the upgrades for that line. Still an 8k (if it crits nuke) is not bad

Raid mobs can be interupted, they have the same requirements as every other mob in the game as far as FoD goes: If it has a cast time, and the Mob is not 100% immune to spells, then it can be interupted.

Yeah, no special rules, they just don't happen to fit the normal restrictions.

I know of at least 1 - Vergalid has a 1.0 second cast AE (Roar of Insanity) which makes it interuptable. Fippy phase 2 "would" be interuptable because his FD AE has a cast time, but alas spells don't land on him during that phase.....big ole cocktease there. Theres probably a few more I'm not aware of.

I can just see us using 5k hate spell on raid mobs to interrupt the aggro bounce would be hilarious.
