The Spirit Realm

Sorry all, just tossing out another AA idea to maybe continue to try to spice up the game.

I'm thinking of an AA that would utilize the paladin once he or she dies. The paladin would die and s/he would immediately respawn as an "[paladin's name]'s Avenging Spirit" We would then actually get to play as a spirit above our corpse for 15-20 seconds. We could still attack, we would take no damage, and upon respawning as a spirit we would do a massive AE taunt. After 15-20 seconds we would go poof.

The idea is that even once we die, we still give one more push to the battle, whether that's to take the monster down or for the group to get out safely.

SK's could get something similar, but instead of defending the group they go bananas on the monster that killed them.

I threw around the idea of having a group heal fire when we die as a last gesture to the group.

Reminds me a bit of my priest in WoW - but with a Paladin twist. That said, I kinda like it.

My fear is that you'd have lots of sacrificial paladin on raids. Kill the pally, save the raid!

Adds a use for Act of Valor.

Give a chance to rez nearby corpses with further ranks of Act of Valor.
If possible, make the chance to rez based upon the % of current health or something.

Or make it give an unrezzable corpse in exchange for always rezzing a small AE around the Act of Valor target.

ie. you use act of valor on person A, for 25' around person A all corpses receive a 96% rez box. However the person using Act of Valor cannot receive any exp back from rezzing... might even make it so that the person using Act of Valor cannot even receive a rez at all. Reuse would have to be in the 20 hour range.
