i use a few different crystallos pieces and buff to 4.5 ac. They aren't the best choices but they are good ones if you have not encountered better ( yet ).

I hang out in one of the wings, usually Earth and kindly ask any group hunting there if I can tag for faction. They always let me, hit the MA with a heal every pull and you will gain faction. A couple Squire kills that you tag for faction will get you there pretty quickly.

dude, Crystal missions require you to be able to group there to loot them (and tank). Yeah they are quick, but if you can't tank there, it's not a valid suggestion.
