Honorific Mantle Dmg Cap

Why don't they upgrade the old ones as well? Seems ridiculous that it goes from absorbing 20k damage to absorbing 300k damage. Maybe it's just me, but seems rather unfair for the not-so-high-levels

monks and rangers should NEVER have the ability to outtank any of the 3 tanking classes whether its Mitigation or Avoidance. Sure monks and rogues and Hell why not for fun, rangers too should have some type of avoidance disc, but it shouldnt last long (id say like 6 seconds tops) SIMPLY just to get them out of "Oh Shit" situations. They are DPS classes, not tanks.

Back to the point at hand for this thread, 3x max cap is definately a welcome upgrade. Actually lasted the full duration in a Korafax raid offtanking a mob. Sure doesn't feel overpowered for it, and I'm happier for it. Win win.

Could it always be better? Sure, but I'll always say that, lol. I'm happy with this step, and it would be nice if they at least re-did the last few ranks of it to match this move and keep it helpful to those not at top level.

I agree it was a welcomed addition. I guess I am just jaded because it was brought up in beta over and over and over trying to get an uncapped version for it and we were shot down. If you look at the disparity b/w the one that exists now and the one that existed in SoD you can see just how piss poor the thing scaled for so long. It just sucks to be ignored by the devs when you ask for an uncapped version because they want to be able to upgrade it in the future as some cookie cutter spell upgrade when if they listened the first time they wouldn't have to have upgraded it 6x the amount it previously was.
