I'm thinking of buying one with SC as I hear some/all of them grant some ac. Which is the best to get? Or are they all much of a muchness?

I use the Steamsuit and Clockwork polymorph wands since the effects stack, the clockwork is just an illusion buff with the ac added in and the others are an illusion and an effect buff. there are several with ac, but i think these are the best 2.
