You'll get more out of the Hagi than you will the 5 extra AC.

General rule of thumb i use for itemization (taken from thesteelwarrior.org, though mine's different):
14 HP per AC
17 HP per Hsta
22 HP per Hagi
3 HP per Hstr
8 HP per Hdex

yeah yeah, there's the argument that you treat each stat independently, blah blah blah. I regard it as a point system & take the one with the highest points (adjusted to my own play style).

I used to think AC was the greatest until i read these posts (and more), switched some augs around & parsed the changes in my own tank-ability. Hagi trade-offs were much better for that purpose, however, it all depends on how you play your toon (do you see yourself more as a healer, tank, offtank, DPS, etc).

I asked on the pally channel in eq and everyone said Rallying. That's what i ended up getting. thanks guys.
