Just curious if anyone else noticed this or if there might have previously been an explanation of it but for solteris paladin armor Cleave is on the leggings and Ferocity is on the arms. This is exactly opposite of the sof armor trend where cleave is on the arms and fero is on the legs, as well as opposite to every other melee class with those two focuses on solt armor. All other melee cleave focus is on solt arms and all other melee ferocity focus is on the leggings.

The simple explanation is Itemisation is done by Merloc, the guy who is for a Dev is clueless in the best and a complete tool at worst.

its true, the guy really has no clue on itemization. Didnt he play like a lvl 50 wizard or some crap, and now hes the itemization dev for ALL classes?

All sof focus will be on same spot, not every classes cleave was on legs and fero on arms in solteris, since theyre the "real" DPS it was probably decided on them not us, tho why ours is backwards, who knows, its probably an easy fix if you asked Merloc to change it like the rest of classes


Merloc played wizard on rathe server yea, dunno when he quit or how good he was, im sure some other pally may know whos from rathe

All this aside, I'm pretty sure that from SoF Itemisation was / will be standard from here on in. So all legs will have Fero, Arms always Cleave this is both good and bad.

Good it makes upgrading easier as you know to upgrade focus xxx you need to replace item yyy

Bad in that all Paladins at the same level of progression are going to be very similar in raw equipment only diferentiated by Augs.
