Thats really not bad at all for an Anguish equivalent ring, except for low AC as usual. Definitely put a Shard of the Guardian in this one.

nice ring, but how do you get it? is it something that a coa/dp geared individual can do like the krithgor bone ear stud in a couple of hours or is it a reward for some lower end raid?

Yes, teh AC is a bit low, but jewlery is actually pretty hard to come by once you get Anguish level and beyond, so its nice to have an option. I replaced a ring of mine with this one. I lost a few AC, but made up for it with the HP differences. then I tossed an AC aug that was sitting in the bank on it and its win/win.

I only needed 2 points to max out my shielding at 35, so this was a no brainer for me.

The ring continues to upgrade with raid drops, one per kill in Solteris. i.e. you kill the first event, it drops one item to upgrade someone's ring. The drop from either of the first two events (both on the first island) will make the ring or . The drop from the second island (from either of the two events on that island) will make the ring archetype specific (fighter/hybrid/priest/caster). The drop from the third island (2 events etc) will make the ring class specific. Should be pretty hot stuff at that point.
