Parry III vs IV

Does anyone have this parse by chance? I know it's 24% vs 32%, but what does that turn into in raw mitigation? I'm trying to decide between fallent saint helm or last blood aug w/ parry III. Any other recommendations on which last blood I should get would also be nice.

Avoid any spell focus for last bloods imho. They are capped at lvl 70 and reduce 10% every level beyond. Where as melee focus will never degrade no matter what level you are.

On the other hand,one might not like the other items with the same focus effect, so last blood becomes an easy choice for that focus. Melee effects have 2% shielding vs 2% spellshield on focus effects, and accuracy instead of avoidance. Those might affect your choices also. I used to aim for a lot of focus effects on last blood, but ended up with just getting extended buffs (primarily for WoT) and detrimental mana preservation (had to choose something). Will end up with 5 pieces of GM/LB, and taking fero parry and dodge for the other effects. Just use whatever effects you have difficulties covering with other items. Without a magelo to look at, that's the best advice I can give

i went with fallen saint helmut. it has ip4 plus 3 to shielding. with a last blood aug you get ip3 and only 2 shielding.

as far as which focus for lst bloods. well yeah tanking mods never degrade but does not id 3 become a waste when there are so many nice pieces of gear that will be available with those mods? however, the spell mods are not so available, and are heavily competed for by all casters.
