Returning after 12 months

Hi everyone, been a long break but am returning to EQ. So as I dont waste valuable leveling time trolling around forums can any of you guys give me some advice on what I should be aiming for please?

One guy said to go for T5 armor but another is saying the AC on my cultral would be superior. In which case its augs I should update and the non visable stuff.

Also while im bleeding info from you all where does a respectful pally grind undead for xp nowadays, used to solo direwind waaaay back then but now im 81 they all light blue and not worth sneezing on

SoD Tier 5 will give u higher focii (Fero 6 Cleave 6, Dodge, Parry...) and the ac is decent on it + the heroics and mod3's youll gain where cultural lacks. So go that route for your 8 visible slots. XP ull probably gain best in either Mech Guardian (groupd), Ruins of Illsalin, Valdeholm, or Frostcrypt (last 2 are current hotzones). Also every day hit up the 3 MM's in PoK as they have NICE xp returns, and the augs u can obtain from beer turnins are sexy. Once at 85 rush to get Void E flagged so you can enter Korafax and start farming gear in Korafax, Old bloodfields, and City of Dranik. U can enter CoD and OBF now, but Kora u cant get into w/out void E. That should last you until at least Underfoot.

Heya Boltan,

Hmm if I am correct Anthem is in MMM and maybe doign some early SoD raids.

Your MMM armor will be better then anything in the group game or than your Cultural (You can buy metal powersources in the bazaar).

You should have enough AA, I would say level to 85 (Illsalin is probably good xp light blue but fast kill rate just don't go there when I am pleveling a friend). Then work on SoD progression (there are a couple very nice group augs).


Three progression augs, 2 augs from Field of scale, 2 augs from kaesroa LIbrary and some random zonmewide rares from T4 and T5.

It may seem counterintuitive, but try to get teh rathe theme progression done first (IN warrens). I am sure Antehm will help. Rathe theme progression opens up T5 mercs.
Oh and in case you don't recognize Ughbash or Hipitey, this is Eagles.
