Meldrath

Our guild finally reached meldrath and got him to 7%, I was wondering if anyone remembered where the adds at 15% spawned and then why our chanters had a rough time mezzing them. Lots of options here, one being the pallys chaining group heals, or maybe the rangers ae rooting, but with each death an undead spawns and this suddenly becomes overwhealming. Anyone have advice for this encounter?

Dont die. Everytime someone dies a spectre spawns in their place. IIRC everytime u rez that person, the spectre depops, so rez quickly and furiously...

The adds at the end are mezzable, but they hit hard. Gathering them up for the chanters is a good idea.

As for the revenants, its possible they won't spawn, but its highly likely they will. probably 80% or better. They despawn if the person gets back into the zone AND gets near the mob, so have them check with whoever is kiting.

If you are that far, have your chanters ready to go, they come from the north part of the room, have them AE mezz right after the SK's AE agro and you should be able to lock them down.

Adds are also Stunnable, but may resist a bit. So have Paladins standing by to stun them and keep them busy till chanters tash and get them locked down.

Generally speaking, keeping Knights ready with Deflection is more than enough to hold them until the chanters can mez them.

I usually LoH the MT immediately when they agro, or HoP the group as soon as I see someone damaged enough to draw them down on me and burst until I have to deflection. The key is just picking them up and keeping them off of the healers in those last few critical seconds of the fight.

i read that thinking i need to remember to setup that hotkey before the raid

so last night was our 4th raid to attempt meldrath
the adds spawn at 15%
i hit deflective and notice just before dying that my stupid 2h is equipped
we lost at 1%! *cry
