Soloing at level 55

Okay well i tried Veksar last night for about an hour, for the first 30 minutes i burned my Vet AAs:LotD, IoF, Jester, and Steadfast Servant. I also used my holyforge disc in there somewhere. In those 30 minutes i only managed to get 11% of a level ( while running double exp AA). I kinda excepted it to be around 20% in the 30 minutes when i ran the double AA and I was disappointed so i decided to start checking around to see what was my best bet for a DPSing weapon. So I'm kinda hoping someone can help me out in telling me which item would provide me the most damage output.

Easy to kill...hard to stay motivated after hundreds of giants dead and only a couple shields to show for it.
