Confirmed it 3 times on 3 different mobs. I cast self DA, unmemmed the spell replaced with my HoT and hammer procced fine. Just depends on the mob if you cant afford that split second to remem somethin else due to the mobs ramp interval then yeah would have to use cleric BDA.

Workaround is simple, click the BP before using the spell gem.

Just before pulling, I cast from my spellbar and used the throughout the fight. The hammer procced a lot throughout the fight.
