My guild has now killed the Queen 3 times on this event, only to wipe to the swarm of adds that spawn. We've tried multiple approaches. Still no luck, at least not yet, but we are making progress.

My only question...

On the final adds that spawn when Queen hits 25% does your guild: Stun? Mez? Or both?

We have the whole raid under the Queen, Rogues on back, rest on side and Chanters AE stun, Druids, Mages, Wizzies AE DPS

Burn discs

AE Heals

We did it a little more chaotic. We have Everyone BUT Knights, Warriors under Queen. At 25% they burn Full disc on her and drop as her asap then we ahve Knights/Warriors/Chanters just go crazy and tank whatever they can. Then we set a MA and have the raid assit and burn each down. Think the key is how long it takes you to bur her down from 25%

Hi Elliott,

For the third wave, we have an offtank on each pop, and we have the MA go through each one, get it killed to spawn the 2 or 3 pops (cant remember how many) and get them mezd, then continue through until we have nothing but mezzable adds. After all mobs are mezd, MA chooses one, and gets it killed to again split. Then each of these splits are mezd, and killed. Then we move on the the next, rinse and repease, all the while running whenever the queen moves. She always goes to the spot where the most people are, so we make sure to tank the adds against the wall, and never in the middle.

Hmm every guild does it differently.

We put 3-4 groups at queen high dps+ 1 tank group MT+back up tank.

And the rest on the middle hill. Pal/SK bring spawn adds to middle ENCH/CLR ae stun/mez and everyone uses AE's. Just make sure your knights and spare wars peel mobs from clerics to stop inturrupts.

We tried twice to have whole raid at queens feet but every so often queen would fire Ae knockback+snare so raid easly gets scattered and adds are no longer locked down. SO snared raid would need to run back into the stun bubble and continue which was a waste of time.

Adds have around 1-2k hp so even a Paladin can solo 3-4 of them minimal healing is needed. We use to get 5-6 paladins per raid so it was easy for us to just pick random add and stun and run to middle, dps a bit Grp heal to build Ae agro. Its a mess those last 10 min of fight but keep trying.

If you have lots of Wizzis then maybe you can all stay at queen as ae's will kill adds fast enough and Ae flux will not matter so much, but we use to get 1-2 wiz max so we used different approach.

Debuffs are the key on the adds, bards playing denons bereavement, shamans pop idols, tash - in order for stuns to land effectively and lock em down, also key is for the tank to be watching the emotes and turn the queen when her knockback/dd is gonna hit the raid. If you're short on wizards like we were to ae them there are other options, monks zerkers and warriors all have ae rampage discs - big weapons like vish stick pwn the adds fast.
