instead of weekly questions, we are now doing Feedback Reports for Zatosia. Here is what I posted for the 1st week.



Quests

1) Nightbane, Sword of the Valiant (Paladin 2.0) - getting Valdoon MM LDON raid instance is buggy.

-Tons of reports from paladins saying that when you turn in the combined Galrun's Bag to Galrun Starforge in Felwith and say the magic words he just eats the bag and does not give the Valdoon instanced. This results in either a petition to get the Bag returned, or going back and doing that portion of the quest all over again. We've had discussion upon discussion about the requirements and everyone follows the same instructions, yet the outcome is not always the same. It just appears that requesting this instanced is buggy at times.
-There is one odd requirement to get the instanced, and thats to have 18 or more raid members IN the Felwithe zone...they can't just be in the raid, they have to be IN Felwithe. Can you remove this requirement?
-Can the remaining requirements for this instanced be looked at? As one poster said - "The effort should go into completing the task not requesting the instance". And I agree!! Perhaps a fail-safe mechanism can be installed to return the proper Bag if all the odd requirements are not met.


Items

1) Valorium Belt of Devotion (drops from Redfang in Demiplane) - has the wrong description for Focus Effect: Final Reckoning.

-The description for Final Reckoning on live says "Spell Effect: Increases the power of summonded pets. This effect works on spells between levels 66 and 70". The actual effect is Decrease spell mana cost by 25% for Last Rites.
-Is it possible to extend this focus to Burial Rites as well?

2) Mysaphar's Thoughtbringer Breastplate (TSS raid quested) - has a Focus Effect for a Tier 3 spell that is not in game!

-The Focus Effect: Dawn's Sunlight is a 70% heal focus for Burst of Sunlight Rank 3. The problem is, this spell is currently unavailable on live.
-Please add Burst of Sunlight Rank 3 to our line up....preferrably not last in line for the turn in.

3) Mysaphar's Thoughtbringer Breastplate (TSS raid quested) - has click effect with a very ambiguious use.

-The majority of mobs, especially slowed, have a melee delay of 1 second or higher. Stuns only disrupt full melee rounds, they do not disrupt double, tripple, or quadruple attacks in the same round. Meaning...if the proc stuns the mob on the 1st attack, they will finish out the round with thier double, tripple, or quad attack, and then continue beating on you like normal because thier melee delay exceeds the stun duration. As you can see, this effectively makes the defensive stun proc do precisely nothing.
-Just like the GoD and OoW Ancient stuns, all the mobs in the actual raid zones in which this item is obtained are Stun Immune to the stun effect because thier levels exceed the cap. We would like an effect that is not restricted by a level cap.....I.E. please no more stun-related clickies unless they are un-capped. These types of capped effects have zero scaleability for future, and even current content.
-There are several discussions in the paladin community on what exactly "Ward of Mysaphar" is supposed to be used for. It adds a defensive proc so that when you are hit, it has a chance to stun a mob for 1.0 seconds, and the stun is capped at level 75. The best we've come up with so far is for an AE agro parlor trick once you already have agro....which we really don't need.
-The problem with effects like this, is if you limit them too much then they are worthless (current state), but if you make them useable in a practicle way then they are over-powered. Its a fine line between worthlessness and being over-powered, but it all boils down to what exactly are the intentions of this effect...and at this point the paladin community really has no idea.


Spells

1) Paladin (and shaman) Heal over Time (HoT) buff icons go to the "effect" window, while cleric HoT buff icons go to the "song" window.

-All HoTs have the same base duration of 4 ticks.
-None of the 4 tick HoTs will stack, including potions, so moving all HoT icons to the song window will not contribute to over-crowding.
-It causes confusion to have HoTs divided like this, especially since they all share the exact same icon. This confusion can be removed by placing all HoT icons in the same window.


Abilities and Attributes

1) Re-use timer for Lay Hands

-AA "hotkey" abilities and Disciplines give the message "You can use the ability Hand of Devotion again in 23 minute(s) 59 seconds" (for example) if you click the button after they've been used and the button is "greyed out"....effectively letting the user know the refresh timer.
-We would like a similar refresh timer message to be applied to the Lay Hands button (and to other longer refresh class/racial abilities such as Harm Touch, Mend, and even possibly Forrage). This would be most excellent.


Alternate Abilities

1) Hand of Disruption (pally stun AA from TSS) does NOT give a message to the user when it successfully lands on a target.

-We get the cast message, the cast bar, but there is no message when it successfully lands on a mob. When its resisted, the user gets a resist message. And if the MOB is casting, you'll see an interupt message. But nothing what-so-ever when it lands normally.
-I suspect this is an oversight, or an error that happened with a previous patch, because when I cast Hand of Disruption on myself, I get the message "you have been hit by a Hand of Disruption". So apparantly the individual getting hit by it will see a message, yet the person casting it does not.
