Soloing at 75

As a bard, I'm lost on spots to solo. I'm singleboxing now, as dual boxing always drives me to quit in frustration of running multiple clients.
Wheres a good spot for a bard to level at 75?
Hell, a decent solo path up to 85 would be GREATLY appreciated.
Please mention the method used for soloing (charming, chant kiting, meleeing, etc..) and rather or not you'd suggest a merc (and of course, what type of merc).
Thanks,
The former shaman's pull bitch.

Any option that includes a mercenary will automatically be worse than every option that doesn't, because mercenaries take a full share of exp. If you have a mercenary up while "soloing", you're really duoing, getting 50% exp. Mercenaries are good only if having one up changes "this group doesn't work" to "this group works".

As far as I know, mercenaries add to the XP bonus for grouping (although players add more now that HOT is out), so the XP reduction is about 40% per kill.
Personally, I find that I get about as much XP burning a LOD (in Paw) with a mercenary as I do without one, but the extra loot is nice. Of course, that's a level 80 Shaman's experience; a level 75 Bard may have very different options.

Bards are best when grouped. For solo-grinding xp/AA best method would be charm-kiting.
Charm a mob, let it get beat down to almost 0 by his former friends, break charm, kill off, grab next.
Have a look at the Concert Hall. There are some threads over there for charm-kiting. One of them is
An extract to start:
At 75:
* Atiiki - valley with beetles just south of the main temples, may run out of things and need to migrate to another nearby valley
* Icefall Glacier - Kobold or Orc camps, just gotta steer clear of nameds
At 80:
* Loping Plains Gators - Best spot since PoN Nightstalkers. Faction song and they're non-aggro, no need to mez to charm, just run up to a gator and charm it. If you leave enough room, he won't get assist aggro.
At 85:
* Field of Scale - Sarnaks work well, so do camps of undead iksar.
* Tosk - indoor zone, though, but there are several groups of 5 ogres that make great places to swarm. Helps to fade after each kill if you have the mana.
There are also good threads on how its done effectly.
Charm-kiting works best if you have an instant-clicky invis, any will do. If you don't have any clicky try invis-potions. Best clicky would be instant-invis like "Boots of the Mosquito", an easy to obtain all purpose invis-clicky with fast casttime would be "Tiny Cloak of Darkest Night".
