Lvl 65 Soloing, PoP or earlier?
Posted: Sat Aug 20, 2005 1:47 amif your e-planes experience is a single earth raid, you dont sound like you can get in the zone, but its faily easy actually if you have a few key items/aa. first you need maps, can get them at if you want or other sources.
strat for fire is very easy, i spent a few hundred aa there back at 65. you need VP, or clickable root, VP3 highly pefred.
pull with malicious deacay, cast VP immedietly (AA, no recast). 95% of the time, the mob will not break root early if decayed first, and it will last about 3 seconds longer than it takes to refresh the hotkey, i tap the faded out hotkey to get a idea how much time i got left.
once itrs rooted, malos and lay one every dot you have THAT DOESNT HAVE A DD. that part is important, VP is a very fragile root. i think at 65, i had 3-4 dots without DD, i forget now, LDON came out and i got an extra one, Bane.
keep this up, canni when dots arent wearing off and keep an eye on vp refresh timer. Fire mob have a very small assist/agro range. once the room is cleared of everything along the walls, can pull the buildings and hope you dont get the adds, it takesa some balls at first, because they look so close
