This is a little aside from the point, but may help anyway......
I'm not sure if your troubles are related to the zones you are LFG in or not. Most people try hunting Glowings assume that RSS is the best spot and bang their head on the wall trying to get groups there.
I dont know when the change was made, but it seems that MPG now drops a lot more glowing runes than it used to. I'm not sure what the situation on your sever is, but if it's like mine then MPG groups are a dime a dozen compared to RSS.

I've solo'd granitesmash alot with 10khp 1500ac buffed and full defensive AAs. Just to give you an idea of where you need to be to do him.

I do not suggest this at all. Not if your after glowing runes. He drops them very very very rarely. I've never seen one and have only seen 1 greater. Sorry, but your best bet is still trying to get a group

You might want to see if you can get into MPG trials grps. We generally will run 1 or 2 a day and will plow from Odi/Ghio to whichever trial were not locked out of at the time. Lots of the named along the way as well as the chest at the end and you'll have most or all of your runes in no time not to mention 2-5 AA's with Lesson.

I duo'd a couple of Glowings for my shaman from Neuromancer Vionne in MPG, they were certainly 'very rare' from him (for me anyway). Dreadspire keep (although not soloable) would be my group choice for glowings, certainly have been more plentiful there than RSS for me.

Thanks for the advice guys. I will try for mpg and rss groups. I guess i kinda did discount MPG and had a mindset on RSS, i will give it a go.

As a side note, granitesmash down to cabe solo. I thought that was pretty impressive for his gear, hehe.
