Soloing Old Raid mobs at 70

Note: all melee values are base value estimates (shielding and warrior di bonus filtered out.)

After reading this thread I decided to go play w/ sol ro with druid / warrior*. DB of 550 max hit of 1600 avg hit on stonewalled warrior was 600 dps (unslowed) on stonewalled warrior was 550, estimated 300-400k hp, bash that lands every other round that stuns you. For those who go to duo him etc, keep in mind he has single target ramp - his ramp is rather nasty (2 hits + kick/bash possible per round.) Ramp rounds were spaced 2-4 seconds, so it's rather nasty - interupted druid casts like crazy.

*warrior buffed to 16.7k hp (oak + ornate bp + FoE3), 3k ac, has max avoid / shielding, imp dodge / parry 3

The guards have 100k hp a piece, db of 300 max hit of 1300 - avg hit on warrior was 500. There are 3 pairs of them, and they have a huge aggro range. I was in his chamber for 45-60 minutes and didn't have them repop. Killing each guard pair took ~12k mana from druid - I had willsapper proc`d on all them (fu willsapper taking 2 minutes to proc on sol ro.)

As far as shaman soloing him... If you don't have 17k+ hp, 60+% focis, near max ds all around, max shielding and stun resist, etc etc - I wouldn't even bother trying him. You would need to be able to survive a harsh round + stun + DD, so you will need a lot of hp to back you up.

It took me over an hour to get to him, albeit druid medding between the pairs was a lot of it. Took about 15 minutes to clear to chamber, killing 6x guards and medding for sol took 45-60 minutes. If you are seriously thinking about doing this, you will need to get fresh raid buffs and clear to sol w/ multiple chars so you're able to engage w/ max hp.

Not that its anything new but dropped Rumblecrush today on first try . Not sure if Grummus has been soloed, but working him atm. Lost pet on inc. not paying attention but still got him to 72 pct. Also has anyone figured if VZ can be split...tried pet pull but got the whole group. figure ill try him again another time.

pretty easy to pet pull. Dots land great, moderatelt hard to slow but not really with OOW1 BP. he was kinda a disappointment and not very hard. I thought I was looking at another wave to spawn so when Planar projection popped I was like " oh wow, hey, I'm done "

he's like a 10 minute fight, fun though just not as challenging as I had imagined.
