Oh Bleh, the answer is on so I guess i can just tell you...The reason you still get the AE is because a mirriorscale drake also cast . When Lethar cast and is facing a mirrorscale drake then the Mirrorscale drake reflects a copy back to the raid. So the main tank has to continue to move about so that Lethar is never facing the drake.

The guild I am in has been trying to best this event for a few months now, and we have not been able to do it mostly due to the double DoT's constantly hitting the whole raid. I had long suspected the cone AE was broken. We set up the ramp tank away from the raid, and positioned ALL pets away from the raid, but we were still taking the double dots pretty much the whole time.

The most recent patch claims to have finally fixed this, although they would never admit that it was broken. It should once again be cone based and directed toward the main tank. We haven't taken on the event yet, we should be there next Wednesday, so i'll update here if the fix seems to be working.

And yes, we were quite sure it wasn't the reflected version of the spell, the event was bugged.

We tried this last night, and we didnt have any problems with flipping or rotating Lethar, yet we would consistantly get double dotted. We tried to postion Healers around corners, and behind walls, and they would still get Dot'ed. We are try a couple diff things to see if we can avoid it, but as of 3 tries last night, the double DT is broken. To you guys that have beaten this may i ask a few questions.

1. Where did you postion your healers and why?

2. Even after the patch has anyone had better success with banning pets on this fight?

3. Drakes, did u kite them, OT them, or kill them till you get black ones to be mezzed?

This is the only Mob left in TSS for us, and we would like to finish before the new expansion.

Any links to raid strat websites with this in it would help out, as i pass this along to our raid leaders.

This is a TSS raid guild It has some info for your mob that I was going to let my guild know about since we never have a full raid any more at the end of the night to win it. So I dont know if this info is current since I heard it has been changed a few times. GL
