The Spirit Realm

My Guild is working feverishly on the Queen Sendaii event. We've now killed the Queen 3 times only to wipe to the swarm of adds that she spawns at the very end. We have wave 1 and 2 down easily. Wave 3 is always tough but we're getting better. We've gotten past it 4 or 5 times now. What we haven't figured out is how to keep the little adds from wiping us.

I keep getting told STUN STUN STUN! And we've tried to STUN STUN STUN. Our enchanters usually die quickly with this approach. It appears half of the mobs are immune to stun and they must be mezzed. For some of you who defeated this event months ago, have they changed it? Did it used to be Stun Stun Stun, but now it's half Mez as well?

We've tried Stun Stun coinciding with Mez Mez. No luck. Well....we've had some luck, but not enough to keep us alive. And I mean we wipe rather quickly. It's not like it drags on for a minute or two as they whittle us down. It's like BOOM and 15-20 seconds later it's pretty much over. We try to group the adds to help with stunning and mezzing.

On our last run we had melee DPS on Queen and tried to AE down the adds before they could wipe us out, but that didn't work. One AE cast and the Wizards are dead. One or two stuns and the Enchanters are dead. Clerics dying quickly also. Knights try to grab them, but there's a bunch of them. We can't get them all.

My question here, other than me venting a little frustration (which usually means we're about to win! ) is: Have they changed the event in the not too distant past from Stun Stun Stun to a Stun/Mez combination?

But But But with 30 up its so much fun to whip out a big 2hB, hit speed focus, and then Destructive force for the AE attack. Makes a monk feel useful once in a while

We use Sk's and paladins on the adds, with almost everyone bunched in the center, and paladins grouped with the enchanters, we group heal with WoT up (4-5 adds cannot kill a paladin faster than he can chain heal and keep himself up, all 30 or more at once on 1 paladin is a diff story, but with all our knights using all the ae agro they have (group heals, sk ae hate spell) the casters usually dont' get agro. Queen was originally a pita for us at the last 25%, once we beat her once with our particular strat, the 2nd kill was 10X easier having beat it once already with a solid strat. Queen is probably 40% strat 20% gear and 40% execution. Granted the split 4 queens are a bitch to tank (I hate getting spiked for an 8k round tanking one) but with at least 4 warriors or mix of warriors/knights with 3k ac or better they're not too bad.
